Five-star quarterback Ryder Lyons could be on commitment watch based on a recent video posted to social media by his sister. Lyons is the top uncommitted passer in the 2026 class. He might not be available much longer!
Apparently, the signal caller’s decision has already been made. He just needs to announce it to the public. His sister knows where he’s going, but she refuses to tell.
Lyons hails from Folsom, California. He’s listed as the No. 4 quarterback in his cycle by 247 Sports, and the No. 13 player overall. Three players at his position have already committed to college teams. He’s the last remaining five-star passer on the market.
At this point, it seems to be a four-team race for Lyons’ services. USC, BYU, Oregon, and Ole Miss are the frontrunners. He has official visits scheduled in Provo and Eugene across the next two weeks.
Ryder Lyons’ sister, Kapri, lives in Utah. Her brother was recently in town to visit. She posted a video of the duo casually strolling around the mall alongside a caption that read, “Where is your brother committing to for football?”

The sound playing over the clip was a voice saying, “I know something you don’t,” a popular tune seen in TikTok trends used to build anticipation ahead of a major announcement.
Kapri Lyons knows where her brother is going to college. She’s keeping that information close to the vest.
Her followers tried to put clues together. Was the fact that they were walking around a mall in Utah confirmation of a BYU commitment?
Or, could he follow his tight end brother, Walker, to USC? The pair could provide the Trojans with a potent offensive attack in the coming years.
At this point, there have been two “crystal ball” predictions made by recruiting experts on 247 Sports. Both of those guesses foresee Ryder Lyons heading to USC.
His sister seems to already know that commitment decision. She’s continuing to build the drama!
