The PGA Tour has punished pro golfer and popular Youtuber Wesley Bryan for participating in Liv Golf’s ‘Duels’ event two weeks ago in Miami. Before LIV’s Duels event, the PGA Tour reportedly warned creators that they could be banned from playing in the rival promotion’s tournament.

“The PGA Tour reached out to creators involved with LIV Golf’s “The Duels” and threatened them with potential future suspensions if they participated in the unsanctioned event, inline with the rules for non members who play full LIV Golf League tournaments. The creators pushed back however and now the threats of sanctions have been dropped.”

Phil Mickelson went on to reveal that Bryan had been banned for one year by the PGA Tour for playing in the event while the other creators have not been punished.

On Wednesday, Bryan told MondayQ.com that he had been suspended indefinitely by the PGA Tour.

The PGA Tour has suspended Bryan indefinitely for participating in “The Duels: Miami,” a YouTube match filmed at the Miami LIV event.

Bryan is at the Puntacana Resort with his family, sharing a rental home with PGA Tour member Ben Martin and his family. “We had this vacation planned for months, so I decided we would still come down,” Bryan says. “It’s been a long time since we had a family vacation where golf wasn’t involved.”

Grant Horvat and Phil Mickelson reacted to the PGA Tour punishing Bryan.
