LaVar Ball is apparently feeling like his old feisty, boisterous self again. Because he is back making wild claims about his three basketball-playing sons LiAngelo, LaMelo, and Lonzo.

After having a foot amputated due to a “serious medical issue” in February, LaVar Ball appeared in very good spirits in a new Instagram video in which he told the Los Angeles Clippers that if they want to win a NBA Championship, they need to acquire all three of his boys.

“If you want a championship, listen to me!” LaVar Ball said in the video. “I’m making it very easy. Everybody trying to go out and make these trades. Melo should be over here, Melo should be over here. I don’t care where you put Melo. But what I do tell you, if you put him with his brothers, he will go to his original spot, which is the two. … But the only person that’ll make him move over from the one spot is his brother Lonzo. Get Lonzo, and Melo, and Gelo!

“Can’t nobody beat my three boys playing fast. Guess what? Indiana Pacers are in the god-dang Finals doing what? Playing that speed game, what I done taught my boys from day one. Can’t nobody beat my boys together.

“So, the Clippers! Bring them god-dang Ball boys home and let’s go get this championship and quit messing around. All you fans who want a championship back in L.A., yes, whole new arena, with the Ball boys? Who ain’t gonna come watch that show? … If you want a championship, (Steve) Ballmer, I’m talking to you! Go get them Ball boys and let’s ball!”

Lonzo and LaMelo Ball are currently under contract with the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets, respectively. Lonzo missed all of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons due to knee issues, and played in just 35 games this season. LaMelo, who has a career scoring average of 21 points per game, has only played in more than 51 games once in his five NBA seasons. While LiAngelo Ball last played professionally (two games in February) for Astros de Jalisco, a professional Mexican basketball team.
