Benny Glaser is off to a scorching hot start at the 2025 World Series of Poker. The poker pro from Southampton, England just picked up 2 more WSOP gold bracelets to bring his total to 7, putting him in a 6-way tie for 7th most all-time.
And it isn’t the mere fact that he won multiple bracelets at this year’s World Series of Poker. It is not atypical for at least one player to take down multiple tournaments during the annual World Series of Poker series. But how Benny Glaser did it is insane.
His heater began on May 30th in Event #8: $1,500 Dealers Choice. There were 597 entrants into that tournament, 1 re-entry per player allowed, 25K starting chips, and 6 players/table. It was a 3-day tournament with $150,245.50 going to first place and an estimated 971 2025 WSOP Player of the Year Points.
Heading into the final day of the tournament, the then-5x WSOP bracelet winner had a dominant chip lead of 3,050,000 which was over double any of the other 13 remaining players. He was able to navigate the tough Dealers Choice competition and win his 6th bracelet on June 1st and earn the $150K+ 917 POY points.
After taking down that event, Glaser would tell PokerNews live reporter David Salituro “it feels amazing, honestly. It does feel like it’s an elite club. You’re getting into kind of the rarity where it’s like, that’s feeling pretty special. Six is really cool. And honesty, just relief after the insane day I’ve had. I’m very proud.”
Benny Glaser Wins Back-To-Back 2025 World Series Of Poker Bracelets
A mixed-game master goes back-to-back to etch his name in the poker history books. Another million-dollar prize is handed out. While more tournaments near the proceed into the final stages of glory.

The next morning, the Englishman would wake up and enter Event #15: $1,500 Mixed LO Hi-Lo 8 or Better. There were 1,239 total entrants in that field with 186 players getting paid out.
The total prize pool reached $1.708 million with $258,192.50 going to the winner along with the coveted gold bracelet.
This was initially supposed to be a 3-day tournament but lengthy play led to an unscheduled Day 4 with 3 players returning: Davis Shmuel, Travis Pearson, and Benny Glaser. The Englishman was able to double up early and take the lead and then out maneuver Shmeul (3rd) and Pearson heads up for his 7th bracelet.
Mixed Game Poker G.O.A.T.?
Of Benny Glaser’s 7 World Series of Poker bracelets, none have come in Texas Hold’em, the most popular and widely known variety of poker. His first gold bracelet came in 2015 in the $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw. After that, he won bracelets in, $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, Razz Championship, $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship, and now his Dealers Choice and Mixed LO Hi-Lo 8 or better in back-to-back wins.
This has to be the hottest run of his career, right? Not so fast! Benny Glaser also won 2 Omaha bracelets within a week at the 2016 World Series of Poker. I think what sets this run apart though is this is a true mixed game heater with the Dealers Choice + Mixed bracelets.
The World Series of Poker hasn’t updated their official 2025 Player of the Year standings yet but they have a POY points calculator and I estimated Benny Glazer’s most recent bracelet would award him an estimated 1069 Player of the Year points.
Based on the latest Player of the Year standings, Glaser would see his POY points totals jump from 971.35 on up to 2,035.35, with a nearly 600 point lead over the current leader, Yosef Fox. Scott Seiver won the 2024 POY race with at total of 4,403.85 points so Glaser has some work to do ahead of him but he’s playing lights out right now.
With this win in Event 15: $1,500 Mixed PLO Hi-Lo 8 – Omaha Hi-Lo 8 – Big O, @BennyGlaser skyrockets to the lead in the 2025 Player of the Year race.

Had I known Benny Glaser was going to win back-to-back gold bracelets this week, I might have ranked him in my rankings this week of the 17 Greatest World Series of Poker Players of All Time. Now that he has 7 and is on this heater, I might need to edit him in to those rankings just 2 days after publishing it.
